How do you prepare the illustration of my house?
The majority of our designs are produced from photographs or sales particulars and your bespoke image takes between seven and fourteen hours to prepare. Initially well send you a rough layout of the proposed design but we may agree to miss this step out completely if a completion date and deadline is fast looming. Following this the artwork is created and a sample sent to you within about five working days. Because the image is scanned we can make minor alterations to the image e.g. add a window box or move a pot plant. Once you are happy we will proceed with the printing.

How long does it typically take to receive my cards?
Generally an order takes two to three weeks from first contact to you receiving your Pen & Ink cards. If you need a quick turnaround, we can usually meet your deadline. Please let us now your requirements and we will let you know what is possible.

Can I use my image again?
Yes. If you want a re-print later or you want to order some different stationery we will still have the image and there is no charge for using your design again.

Can I have the original?
Because we sometimes make changes to the image to make it absolutely right for you before scanning it and cleaning it up, the original image is not really in a useable state. We can provide you with a large, high quality print upon request.

Can I have the artwork and arrange my own printing?
In normal circumstances we charge a one-off payment of £95 for creating the artwork, where clients order and re-order house stationery through us. If, however, you would like me to supply the full artwork on disk and give you a licence to use the copyright yourself and get your printing done elsewhere the cost is £200.
